Sailthru opened its doors in November 1991. Located in the beautiful Loskop Valley. We started up as a hobby for my Mum sister and I. Gradually we decided to start making our own moulds and started designing products that we liked. The hobby grew into a fully fledged business, with clients supporting us from all over South Africa, including visiting tourists in the area.

Some of our best clients are interior design stores in the beautiful Cape Province. Our ceramics are exclusive – you will not find anything like this elsewhere.

We have a vast selection of ceramicware – from ornamental to tableware, kitchenalia and lamp bases.

We are best known for our beautiful Cabbage ware Range.  As we live on a farm and deal mainly with growing and packing Vegetables, we have used nature to inspire our designs. An example of this is the use of actual cabbage leaves, carved into our moulds, picking out all the exquisite details.

Sailthru also does bespoke items, and we make our own moulds. We are well known for hand painted designs on our ceramics.

We have a beautiful shop/showroom at our factory on the farm, you are most welcome to pay us a visit – please make an appointment with us. Kindly refer to the map in our product info section as to how to get here.

As a guideline, we are 1 and 1/2 hours from Pretoria and 2 and 1/2 hours from Johannesburg. A really lovely outing for those from the city who would like to experience the beauty our valley has to offer.
